The Outstanding Young Chemical Engineer (OYCE) Award, organized annually by IIChE-MRC, is one of India’s most prestigious platforms for recognizing excellence in undergraduate research in chemical engineering. The award serves as a national stage for final-year chemical engineering students to present their original research, innovative projects, and applied industrial problem-solving studies.
OYCE is not just a competition — it is an opportunity for students to present their work before an elite jury comprising senior academicians, industry leaders, and domain experts. Winning or participating in OYCE places students prominently on the professional map of Indian chemical engineering.
